Gayle V. Economos, GVE Media/Public Relations, LLC

Gayle V. Economos is a career-long broadcaster who owns her own public relations business.  Besides working for WBAL-TV, WJZ-TV and MPT, she coordinates the Baltimore Broadcasters Coalition for all of the TV and most of the radio stations in the market.  On-air, Economos can be seen as spokesperson for a variety causes and as a Pledge Host on MPT.  She received two AIR (Achievement In Radio) Awards for guest hosting the original “Marc Steiner Show” on WJHU-FM (now WYPR-FM); she was also a commentator on WBAL-TV’s “The Bottom Line with Kweisi Mfume”.  Founding GVE Media/Public Relations, LLC in 1995, her marketing firm specializes in enhancing the image of nonprofits in the communities they serve.  (more…)
