Updated panel: Two-part series on planning for great media visuals, October and November programs announced

Join us for a two-part series on planning your public relations activities to ensure great media visuals. Both programs will focus on what Baltimore area newspaper and magazine photographers and television video journalists are looking for to produce strong images to accompany news and feature stories. Public relations professionals will hear how to ensure their organizations are best prepared for media visual opportunities.

Part I: Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Stella Maris, 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd., Timonium, Md. **Attendees can park in the visitor’s parking lot and security will direct them to the meeting room.

Panel includes Gene Sweeney, a photographer for 27 years with The Baltimore Sun, Nicholas Griner from the Baltimore Business Journal, Steve Ruark, a former Patuxent Publishing freelance photographer whose news clients include the Associated Press, and David Rehor, whose clients have included Baltimore Magazine, The Urbanite Magazine, DC Magazine/Modern Luxury, Forbes Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Diversity Magazine.

Part II: Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at AAA Mid-Atlantic, 8600 LaSalle Rd., Oxford Building, Ste. 639, Towson, Md.*

Panel includes Darren Durlach, a senior photojournalist with WBFF-TV (FOX45) and the two-time reigning National Press Photographers Association Ernie Crisp Television News Photographer of the Year, and Pat Bourque, whose award-winning career as a TV photojournalist has spanned more than two decades, including 21 years with WBAL-TV where his assignments have included international earthquakes, hurricanes and other disasters.

Registration and light breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m.;  program and Q&A runs from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
