     8:30 am - 10:30 am

This event is limited to the first 35 registrants.

Join us at WMAR 2 News on Tuesday, September 19.

WMAR is Maryland’s first commercial television station (1947) and the 11th in the nation. With a proud history that includes many technological breakthroughs including the first color film processor for TV news and production, and first zoom camera lens for film and tape cameras, the station can also boast Baltimore’s first female director in 1948. Their News Director (who oversees all news operations) since 2009 is a woman. Still dedicated to innovative local programming, WMAR-2 News was the first TV station in the Baltimore market to expand its weekday morning newscast to begin at 4:30AM. Many of their reporters are Multi-Media Journalists (MMJ) who can do the soup-to-nuts of news coverage. WMAR-2 News is committed to telling positive stories from across Maryland. A station tour will follow the program. @wmar2news http://www.wmar2news.com [wmar2news.com]
