Being an effective spokesperson involves much more than learning how to do an on-camera interview. In this workshop, veteran spokespeople Ragina C. Ali (AAA) and Elise Armacost (Baltimore County Government) talk about the skills you need to master before you go in front of the camera. Developing consistent media relations policies, understanding marketing vs. public relations, educating and soliciting buy-in from your colleagues and supervisors, and knowing the best tools for communicating your message are just a few of the topics these new public relations professionals will discuss.
