Join us at The Village at Augsburg for an in-person Holiday Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Dan Rodricks.

Dan Rodricks is a long-time columnist for The Baltimore Sun and a local radio and television personality who has won several national and regional journalism awards over a reporting, writing and broadcasting career spanning five decades. He is the author of three books, including “Father’s Day Creek.” With more than 6,000 columns under his byline, Rodricks has written one of the longest-running newspaper columns in the country. Now some of his stories are brought to life in “Baltimore, You Have No Idea,” a one-man play with a cast of seven, which depicts stories from the hard streets and sweet spots of Baltimore — on stage for six performances in December at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Suggested items for residents:  Amazon Echo, Dot or Pop Smart Speakers, fleece blankets, wheelchair cup holders or art supplies including paint brushes, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, cardstock, glue and glue guns. Please DO NOT wrap the donations.

Festivities will include raffling off one of Dan Rodrick’s books and a AAA emergency roadside kit!

MENU:
Starter: Cream of crab soup
Choice of entree: cranberry, rosemary chicken, bourbon glazed salmon or tofu stirfry
Sides: Carmelized brussel sprouts, roasted asparagus and wild rice
Dessert: Homemade apple strudel cake.
Beverages will include soda, iced tea, hot tea and coffee.
