PROFILES is seeking an Account Executive with 2-3 years of PR and social media experience working in the field to join our inclusive, energetic and effective agency team. This Account Executive will be the day-to-day contact for the accounts for which they serve and take the lead on many aspects of account management including writing press releases and other communications, pitching to reporters and producers, responding to media requests for information, and coaching clients on communicating with the media and the public.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the use of Apple technology (Mac OS, Keynote, etc.) and an understanding of interoffice communications tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams
Experience using various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter personally and professionally, as well as mail distribution programs such as MailChimp and/or Constant Contact, and scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite
Strong writing and editing skills with a knowledge of AP-style
Public speaking skills
Ability to illustrate results and go the extra mile for clients
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time, salaried, exempt
Developing and implementing PR strategies on behalf of clients
Writing/copywriting for a range of materials, e.g. press releases, bylined articles, strategy documents, talking points, etc.
Developing social media content, maintaining content calendars, scheduling posts and leveraging engagement opportunities
Media management (coordination of interviews, distribution of press materials, attending media opportunities, etc.)
Media list-building and database management
Maintaining media and influencer contacts, and continually building relationships
Conducting research for client initiatives
Monitoring media coverage/creating coverage reports for clients
Providing event production support
Participating in team meetings
Client services to include relationship building and maintenance, regular communication and participation in meetings
Assisting leadership team in crisis communications efforts on behalf of clients
Researching opportunities for executive visibility and awards for clients
Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with clients and agency teams
