The first station in the Baltimore market to use the MMJ (multi-media journalist) model, station management and talent will share how they are coping with ongoing challenges to their news operation and how they are continuing to evolve.
Known for its many pioneering technological breakthroughs (the first to use a color film processor for television news and production and the first to use a Zoom camera lens for film and tape cameras) as well as having the first woman director, Janet Covington, in 1948, ABC2, WMAR-TV is marking its 65th year in broadcasting in 2012.
The pre-registration fee is $15 for BPRC members; $25 for non-members; $10 for students; guests of members are free. Register by June 8 to receive a $5.00 discount! Walk-ins will be charged an additional $10.
