Marketing Communications Coordinator
We are Gavin™ Advertising, an advertising, marketing and public relations firm based in downtown York, PA that is devoted to truth in branding and driving action. We focus on building effective, comprehensive communications and marketing strategies for a wide variety of clients. Over the past few months, we’ve been growing, and growing fast. So, we need the right person to join our team.
This person should thrive in a creative team environment full of people that never settle for less. Should NOT be allergic to dogs and NOT be offended by “occasional” swearing in the office. They should LOVE eating downtown and the color orange. Stop reading now if you don’t meet these minimum criteria.
We’re looking for someone that is devoted to delivering the absolute best outcomes for our clients. This person will be hardworking, detail oriented, smart, have a great sense of humor, superior writing skills and a desire to raise the bar at all times, Must be detailed oriented, able to remain calm during high stress situations, manage multiple projects and goals, and work under tight deadlines. We want someone that will add value to our team, is a critical thinker and wants to grow with us.
Job responsibilities include: manage various project tasks and deadlines, write press releases and marketing materials, manage all forms of communications/media, secure coverage with regional and national media, proof and edit work, social media management, client communications, research, etc.
Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience. Prefer an individual with agency experience. Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing required.
