COPYWRITER / ACCOUNT MANAGER

Vitamin is seeking a talented copywriter with the ability to handle account management. The position requires writing and editing marketing-communications copy for B2B and B2C clients and the agency. Working closely with Vitamin’s principals and design team, the copywriter will be responsible for conceptualizing, managing and writing creative and business copy for web sites, social media channels, blogs, eblasts, printed collateral, newsletters, advertisements, press materials, etc.

The copywriter will also provide account management support to Vitamin’s principals, which will include day-to-day client communications, helping to manage an effective flow of communications between Vitamin’s team and our clients, presenting creative concepts to clients, assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies and monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns.

CANDIDATE “MUST-HAVES”
- 2+ years of experience in editing and writing copy for print and digital marketing channels. Press writing experience is a plus

- Prior agency experience (the more, the better) and a four-year degree

- Exceptional writing and editing skills. You should also have the ability to articulate thoughts professionally and respectfully to various audiences, including clients and co-workers. Prior experience in written / verbal communications with the press is a plus

- Proven experience in account management and/or account support. Includes the ability and desire to direct others and to take direction. You must be a collaborative team player, willing to contribute ideas and to find new opportunities for Vitamin’s existing clients to enhance their marketing efforts

Experience in these industries is a plus: banking, built environment (architecture, engineering, construction, etc.), health and human services, and non-profit.
