Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Vitamin, a Baltimore-based graphic design, web design and public relations firm, seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant (part-time) who has great poise and excellent people skills. The Administrative Assistant will perform routine clerical and administrative functions to help support the day-to-day functions of Vitamin’s operations, as well as the firm’s executive staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper /electronic files, ordering and organizing supplies, answering phones, running errands, and maintaining contact lists. Additional responsibilities will include: research, proofing / editing, social media support, and monitoring public RFPs. Other tasks to be assigned as needed.
Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or Apple Mail and iCal (familiarity with Adobe Indesign and QuickBooks is a plus). The ability to conduct Internet research effectively is required. The Administrative Assistant must also type quickly and accurately. Additionally, you must have the ability to adapt within a challenging and busy work-environment and assume additional responsibilities as necessary.
