Marketing Communications Manager (Greater Baltimore Medical Center)

With oversight by Director of Marketing, is responsible for the strategic planning and day-to-day management of written communication activities for advertising, publications, collateral and web. Manages Marketing Specialists and Publications Coordinator in assuring consistent tone and messaging to support GBMC branding strategies, marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Assure all functional areas of responsibility operate at or below budget.

 

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communications or related area. 
5-7 years marketing experience to include 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a health care environment.  Additional education may be substituted for years of experience
  • Knowledge of marketing tools, to include advertising, publications, collateral and web communications.
  • Skill in development of project plans including timelines, tasks and delegation of responsibilities.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in project management.
  • Ability to effectively manage and negotiate with vendors.
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and priorities.
