Director of Member Services
Well established downtown Baltimore Club seeks a Director of Member Services. Position responsible for Club communications, special program support and day to day administrative needs.
Communications
Designs and edits bi-monthly newsletter and weekly e-mail blasts.
Drafts club correspondence.
Collects membership contact information and edits bi-annual club directory.
Will contribute to the content of Club’s developing website.
Program Support
Acts as liaison to Entertainment, Membership Development and Strategic Planning Committees.
Records meeting minutes and maintains record files.
Assists with program logistics and serves as Club contact person for guest speakers.
Administrative
Processes Club admission and resignation paperwork; maintains membership records and generates monthly membership reports.
Assists with two major annual giving campaigns for club’s Endowment and Foundation, processing checks, write thank you notes and maintaining donor records.
Process club dues payments and resolves past due accounts; assists with Club inventories.
Answers phones, take reservations and fields general questions about the Club, its programs and services. Maintains daily and seasonal calendars.
Job Requirements
Requires strong communications skills, organizational skills, and a thoughtful attention to detail. Outgoing personality and gracious phone manner vital. Must have a sense of teamwork.
Candidate should have some work experience in office administration or communications; some financial knowledge a plus.
Benefits available (after a 90-day wait period) to include health insurance, dental insurance, matching retirement plan and an annual bonus, depending on performance.
Salary range is $30,000 to $35,000.
