Cheryl Knauer, Nevins & Associates

Cheryl Knauer is an account executive at Nevins & Associates, a marketing and communications firm based in Hunt Valley. At Nevins & Associates, she works with a variety of clients, including Morton’s The Steakhouse, the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center, the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland, eduTrax, among others.

Previously, she worked at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), most recently as media relations director. Prior to MICA, she was a public relations associate at the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.

She is a former president of the Baltimore Public Relations Council and currently is active on the program committee. She also sits on the public relations/marketing committee of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore and previously was a member of the Baltimore Collegetown Network public relations/marketing committee. She is also a member of the editorial board for RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association. Cheryl is a volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.

She received a bachelor’s degree in communication, concentration in public relations, and minors in French and women’s studies, from La Salle University in Philadelphia.
