| Job Details: | Objective: This associate manages all media relations, social media implementation and digital communications integration for the health system, as aligned with AAMC business development and community outreach objectives. This position acts as primary spokesman for the medical center, and is charged with publicizing the services, programs and image of AAMC to all internal and external publics through print, radio, television and digital media sources. This associate must have experience in developing, implementing and managing communication, marketing, and media plans, and must have experience in launching digital campaigns as the scope of traditional media changes.
Activities take place in all areas of the main campus, off-site satellites, and at other community venues, as well as online, at a variety of hours, both day and night. Requirements: College degree required. A minimum of five years in media relations, public relations, marketing and advertising. Demonstrates experience in media relations, writing, editing, photo supervision, program event planning and promotions. Direct media experience a must, legislative affairs experience a plus. Health care experience desirable. |
