Title: Account Executive, Public Relations
Location: Baltimore City
Salary: $40,000-50,000
A fast paced Baltimore MD agency seeks a PR Account Executive to work on some very large accounts in their PR division.
Responsibilities:
- Writing press releases
- Working with reporters on a day-to-day basis
- Assisting in the development of collateral materials
- Provide support for media relations at trade shows and conferences.
- Account management including budgeting and marketing activities
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of solid public relations experience
- Excellent media relations skills with proven experience placing stories in print and electronic media
- Strong writing ability, including experience with press releases, by-lined articles and collateral materials
- Agency experience a MUST
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in Web 2.0 tools, including social media
- A degree (BA or BS) required
