Job Description
The Recruitment and Outreach Manager is responsible for generating prospective student inquiries and applications and cultivating applicant relationships throughout the admissions process. Represents School of Public Affairs at Graduate Fairs nationwide to proactively recruit applications. Maintains relationships with prospects and applications through email and campus visits. Implements strategy designed to convert admitted students to enrolled candidates for master’s degree through online communications, personal visits and special events. 20% time spent traveling to graduate fairs Fall semester. 30% percent time spent on individual communication with students in person, over telephone and via email throughout the year. 10% time spent on event planning. 15% time spent assisting with advertising and publications. 25% time spent providing graduate student services and special projects as needed.
Job Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
Position Requirements:
At least three years of recruiting or relevant marketing experience. Must be skilled in events planning and coordination. Have excellent oral and written communications skills and be proficient in database and marketing applications. Must demonstrate attention to detail, interpersonal communication skills, student service focus, problem solving capabilities and flexibility. Must be able to effectively communicate complex information for a wide range of graduate degree programs and related career tracks.
